Dear " Young Scholars"
In The book 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, author Sean Covey shares 7 basic Habits that will help teens be successful:
I would like to share the first Habit:
Be Proactive - Take responsibility for your life: So, what are some ways you can Be Proactive:
- Use your agenda book to plan
- Study for test and quizzes
- Ask your teacher for help when you don't understand something
- Seek assistance from your counselor or another adult if you are having a conflict with another student
Today, make it a point to BE PROACTIVE:

10.4.11
I would like to share the 2nd Habit: Begin with the End in Mind
Begin with the End in Mind - Define your mission and goals in life.
You may not realize it, but you do it all the time. Beginning with the end in mind that is. You draw up a blueprint before you build a house. You read a recipe before you bake a cake. You create an outline before you write a paper.
* Have you set goals for yourself this year?
* If not, think about setting an academic, behavioral or attendance goal for yourself.
o Do you want to make the honor roll?
o Do you want to avoid getting an office referral this year?
o Do you want to receive an award for perfect attendance?
So, establish a goal. Get an accountability partner or someone you trust to hold you accountable for your goal. Today, Begin with the End in Mind.
